Intel Launches 9th Generation Coffee Lake Refresh with up to 8 core, Core-X Series processor with upto 18 cores and Xeon with upto 28 Cores

Intel unveiled the new power to the high end desktop and PC computing, the 9th Generation core, Core-X (Extreme) series processor and Xeon 28 core processors. The new core processor will be targeting Desktop enthusiast and Gamers. 9th generation Coffee lake Refresh is getting up to 8 cores of processing power. The new CPU’s are upgrade to the previous 14 nm chip as Intel delayed the launch of its 10 nm chip until 2019.

Intel 9th Generation CPU with upto 8 Cores and 16 threads

Intel Launched  i9-9900K, i7-9700K and  i5-9600K in the event yesterday. The i9 9th gen features 3.6GHz base clock and unlocked for Overclocking with the limit up to 5 Ghz. The intel i9-9900K is the flagship of the lineup released by Intel. It is the first to get features like 8 core 16 threads, 16 MB ko L3 cache, UHD graphics chip.

Anand tech listed the per core ratios for each of the three overclocking-capable CPUs. Intel featured its first two core of its flagship processors at the peak frequency of 5 GHz.

Intel  Core X series processor with upto 16 cores and 32 threads

The Intel Core X Series Flagship i9-9980XE will get a total of 18 cores and 36 threads, upto 68 Platform PCIe Lanes (44 Core per CPU), Solder TIM (STIM) For Better Overclocking, Quad Channel DDR4 Memory Support, Base frequency of 3. 0 GHz which can be overclocked upto 4.5 GHz with Intel’s Turbo boost max technology.

Intel Xeon : 28 Core Unlocked CPU with 4.3 GHz Turbo Boost Clock Frequency

Xeon processor lineup is targeted at the non-consumer workstationserver, and embedded system markets. The new Intel Xeon processor is packed with 29 cores and 56 threads, with unlocked processor of 3.1 Ghz and can be overclocked upto 4.5 Ghz , it features 38.5 MB of Intel Smart Cache and upto 68 platform PCIE lanes. This Xeon processor is set to ship starting December this year.

The 9th generation chip, along with the new Z390 motherboard chipset will be ready for Shipping on Oct 19
