Alienware's upcoming 34-inch gaming monitor is the first samsung's new quantim dot OLED display monitor. which has the price tag of $1299. It was debuted this year's CES and will start shipping by the spring.
The QD-OLED monitor from Alienware has all of the benefits of an OLED monitor, such as deep blacks and powerful contrast. The addition of Quantum Dot technology results in increased brightness and more brilliant colors – the monitor should cover 99.3% of the DCI-P3 color space. It also offers a 3440 x 1440 resolution, a 175Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of 250 nits with a maximum of 1,000 nits. A quick 0.1ms reaction rate is also expected, as well as support for Nvidia's G-Sync Ultimate technology.
